Finally, I've brought myself to drawing of the Deadly Sins series, which is going to include 7 artworks - Pride, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Sloth and Greed. It seems that this work is going to take all my free time for 0.5-1 year, oh my...
Well, ok, now the first sin - Wrath (lat. IRA) in before you! Somebody could find his face not so wrathful as it should be, but there was no aim to express the sin as the emotion at least on this one. Anyway I tried to show it by his pose - he grabs you by his strong hands and you can't escape as when you are foam with anger you cannot cool the heat. And as I can judge I made him stern enough to associate with Wrath.

kakoi ^_^ it's good that you explained the lack of emotion in his face, but isn't that wrath is like anger or rage to the nth power? so it should be more...intense, for lack of a better word. and the lifting of the arms is not enough for me, either, since you -explained- or -justified- why you did such, when the image should speak for itself. perhaps if the hands were more claw-like or if it were reaching for something...like the viewers looking at the picture?

Wrath; in it's best form, it is rightous anger towards an injustice, at it's worst, it's just lashing out at everyone.
